Pa-Oh National Day

National day is the days of significance for every Pa-O people.It is motivated the morale of patriotism, national spirit, nationalist spirit to dwell in their mind. They are celebrating National day every on "Tarbaung full day". It is called " Den See Lar Bway" by Pa-Oh. The National Day is come out form when they remember their ancestors and leaders. Therefor we can recognize the national day is beginning form gratitude. On the other hand Pa.oh’s national day is the birthday of “King Thuriyasanda”. So the old people regarded that the birthday of King Thuriyasanda is as their national day by acknowledging the gratitude of “King Thuriyasanda”. On that day, they celebrate the festival every year. The festival also is the festival of meeting of their relatives. During the festival, all villagers come and participate this festival.
